Referral Program Terms
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Overview
The Alta Referral Program incentivizes user participation by offering rewards for qualified referrals. New users joining through referral links may receive complimentary benefits. Specific rewards (e.g. free publish slots or other benefits) may apply as described at the time of the program.
2. Qualified Referrals
A referral qualifies when the new user:
- Has never previously created an Alta account
- Signs up via your referral link
- Meets any other eligibility criteria we specify (e.g. unique store or account requirements)
- Is not yourself (prohibits self-referrals and duplicate accounts)
- Complies with Alta's Terms of Service
3. Referral Rewards
- Rewards are awarded per qualified referral according to the then-current program terms
- Referees may receive a welcome benefit upon signup
- Maximum earning and processing time are as specified in the program
- Rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or transferred unless we state otherwise
4. Restrictions
Prohibited activities include:
- Self-referrals or multiple referrals of the same person
- Duplicate account or store additions across accounts
- Fake accounts, fraudulent activity, or automated methods
- Posting referral links on coupon sites or paid advertising in a way that violates our guidelines
- Misrepresenting affiliation with Alta
- Any fraudulent or abusive conduct
5. Reservation of Rights
Alta reserves the right to verify referral legitimacy, withhold rewards for suspected fraud, and modify or terminate the program at any time without notice.
6. Termination and Updates
Program modifications take effect as posted. Continued participation implies acceptance of the updated terms.
